More About Matteo
Matteo graduated with First-Class Honours in Civil Engineering (MEng) in June 2022. His master's thesis focused on the computational limitations of numerical models used to assess the hydrodynamic impacts of tidal barrages for renewable energy generation, demonstrating his expertise in advanced computational modelling and renewable energy infrastructure.
Over the past two years, Matteo has been working as a Flooding, Coastal, and Maritime Engineer at Arup, a globally renowned engineering consultancy. He has contributed to a wide range of civil engineering projects, applying his expertise in water, coastal, and environmental engineering to deliver sustainable solutions.
Matteo’s tutoring philosophy centres on empowering students by helping them fully understand the tools and techniques available to solve engineering problems. He breaks down complex topics into fundamental concepts, building a strong, sustainable foundation of knowledge for long-term learning. His approach is designed to give students the confidence to tackle engineering challenges independently.
