I discovered Will and good foundations when I was looking for extra tuition to help understand some of the structural engineering problems I was having with analysis and design subjects. Will was very helpful in presenting solutions to my issues and going through the examples to make sure I was comfortable with the theory behind the problems. Will has since helped me with job applications - using his knowledge and experience to give pointers and general help when writing my CV and cover letter. I would definitely recommend Will and good foundations to anyone looking for extra tuition or coaching.

FAQs

  • Fill in an enquiry form - we will be in contact today or tomorrow to discuss your request.

  • When we have matched you with a suitable tutor, booking and payment is made directly with your tutor.

In general, tutoring sessions need to be booked at least 48 hours in advance to give your tutor adequate time to prepare for the session.

When the session has been agreed, email your tutor the relevant material and highlight what area you need help with. Your tutor will reply confirming that they can help you.

The tutoring session will be conducted over video call, and your tutor may share their screen in order to discuss the material with you.

  • If you plan on booking 4 or more hours of tutoring in a month then it will be less expensive to take a coaching subscription.

  • Tutoring sessions will generally take place online via video call. Face-to-face tutoring can be arranged when convenient, however we see online tutoring as the best way to work. It reduces the need to travel for the tutoring session and allows you to access the best tutor for you regardless of location.

  • For a list of topics our tutors can assist with see the Our Tutors section. There may be some instances when a tutor will not be able to assist you - they may not be familiar enough with a particular topic. If this is the case they will let you know straight away and try to point you in the right direction.
